Many greetings from the heart of Africa. I\u2019ve been here in Burundi for almost two weeks now, and I have visited our sisters here and tried to capture something of their lives and experiences on camera. And I have to say, this experience was very valuable for me personally. As someone who was born and grew up in Europe. It was good to see the reality of the people who live here in this country. You become a lot more thankful for the many things that we take for granted. Electricity that doesn\u2019t only work for a few hours a day. Clean water – running water in the house, good medical care, safe public transport, decent roads, and so much that we never really think about. And yet the people here are so joyful, thankful, and generous. I mean, I just realized how strong they are also. I visited the health center here that our sisters run, and there\u2019s so much suffering that you see there. You know, the people they walk often miles and miles uphill in the burning sun to reach this place and receive medical care without cost. And the people are so thankful for all that they receive.\nOur sisters can only help them due to all the donations that they receive, mostly from Europe.
