Empowering Mothers & Women through Faith: Schoenstatt Tampa Bay

Welcome to the Mothers & Women Branch of Schoenstatt Tampa Bay, where we celebrate the special charism and role of mothers in the family, Church, and world, as envisioned by our founder, Father Joseph Kentenich.

The serene backdrop of the shrine underscores their collective journey of faith and commitment to the spiritual ideals of the Schoenstatt movement.

Our Rich Heritage: The Schoenstatt Mothers' Branch

Founding and Growth of the Mothers' Branch

The Schoenstatt Mothers’ Branch was founded in Germany in 1940 and made its way to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in the 1960s. This journey reflects our commitment to spreading the mission and values of Schoenstatt across the globe.

The Role of Mothers in Family, Church, and World

Under the guidance of the Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt, we help mothers to grow into their mission as the heart of the home, fostering a nurturing environment that cherishes faith and family values.

Deepening Spirituality: Embracing the Schoenstatt Way

Nurturing the Covenant of Love

Through monthly small group meetings, retreats, and days of recollection sponsored by the Mothers’ Branch, we deepen our covenant of love and commitment to the Church and Schoenstatt’s goals.

The Diverse Roles of Schoenstatt Mothers

Schoenstatt mothers serve in a variety of roles within their parishes, from being Directors of Religious Education to aiding grieving families. Their service is a testament to their faith, dedication, and the spirit of Schoenstatt.

The Living Monstrance: Our Symbol, Our Mission

Being Christ-Bearers and Christ-Bringers

The Living Monstrance is more than a symbol; it’s our mission. As Schoenstatt Mothers, we strive to be Christ-bearers and Christ-bringers in our families, churches, and communities.

Striving to Be Another Mary

Our ultimate goal is to mirror Mary’s faith, love, and humility. We aim to be ‘another Mary’ in our family, Church, and world, spreading her grace wherever we go.
