In the midst of our 100th jubilee year, we, the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary of North America, gathered to celebrate another important milestone: the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.
As part of the celebration, we consecrated our nation anew to the Triune God and to our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt, and renewed our commitment to making the US a holy land of Mary.
Our founder believed that “the American character, as it is willed by God and befits this nation, can be looked upon as a bell that is cast from a mixture of different valuable minerals… if its ring is to become pure, each substance in the alloy must remain true to its nature, be carefully cultivated, and unite with the valuable characteristics of the other[s]”
May our Mother and Queen intercede for the unity of our nation, so that we may ring out to the praise of the Triune God
