I’m sister Donna, and I work for the Diocese of La Crosse in southwestern Wisconsin. I hold three positions here. That of auditor for the matrimonial tribunal, director for the office for Consecrated Life, and the database administrator. So starting with consecrated life, I serve 17 communities that are represented here, as well as a few consecrated virgins and hermits. There’s three newer communities which I enjoy accompanying, on their their path with their new development here.\nAnd then in my work for the tribunal, I help with the step of gathering evidence, that is gathering testimonies and then processing those and preparing those in such a way that they can then be submitted to the facts of the case used by the judge and others needed to make the decision. As database administrator, I review the activity, the online activity of our parish secretaries and I train them where necessary.\nI like to remind them that that they are to represent people, and it’s the people that we’re serving. It’s not just about having, all of the data. Exactly correct. But we want to be serving the people and assisting the pastors.
