Here at Mount Schoenstatt, Mulgoa we participated in the 24-hours for the Lord. This is a global initiative which was introduced by the late Pope Francis in 2014 to promote prayer and reconciliation. We began with Holy Mass in the Shrine on Friday afternoon at 5:30pm. Following that the blessed Sacrament was exposed and Fr Pawel made himself available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The blessed Sacrament remained exposed for a whole 24-hours in the Shrine and many people came to adore the Lord in song, prayer and silence. Together with around 100 people who gathered in and around the Shrine we concluded this prayer initiative with the vigil holy mass. This annual project highlights the great gift we have in the blessed Sacrament and puts the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the centre of the Church’s pastoral life.
As Pope Francis said: “If we are to know the Lord, we must go to Him. Listen to Him in silence before the tabernacle and approach Him in the Sacraments.”

#24hoursfortheLord #Mulgoa #Schoenstatt #Prayertime #AdoreHim”,”ranges”:[{“offset”:1004,”length”:18,”entity”:{“__typename”:”Hashtag”,”__isEntity”:”Hashtag”,”mobileUrl”:”https://m.facebook.com/hashtag/24hoursforthelord”,”url”:”https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/24hoursforthelord?__eep__=6″,”id”:”756942021006837″,”__isNode”:”Hashtag
