ES: El 22 de Diciembre de 1965 el Padre Kentenich es recibido por Pablo VI en el marco de una audiencia grupal de más o menos setenta personas. Cuándo entra a la sala de la audiencia , le dicen que se coloque al final de la fila de participantes, y le susurran :
” El Santo Padre quiere dedicarle más tiempo “.
Finalmente el fundador se halla ante el Santo Padre , sosteniendo en la mano un pequeño cofre negro. En ese cofre , que entonces abre , se halla un sencillo cáliz dorado . Se lo entrega al Papa como regalo para la proyectada iglesia ” Matri Ecclesiae “, que planeaba construir en Roma, en memoria del Concilio . El Santo Padre le expresa su agradecimiento con una breve alocución que lee de una hoja. A su vez el Padre Kentenich le agradece por toda la benevolencia y por su rehabilitación, prometiéndole que Schoenstatt trabajará con todas sus fuerzas por la misión posconciliar de la Iglesia.

EN: On December 22, 1965, Father Kentenich was received by Paul VI in the framework of a group audience of about seventy people. When he enters the audience room, he is told to stand at the end of the line of participants, and he is whispered to:
“The Holy Father wants to spend more time with you.”
Finally, Fr. Kentenich stands before the Holy Father, holding a small black box in his hand. In this chest, which he then opens, there is a simple golden chalice. He gives it to the Pope as a gift for the planned “Matri Ecclesiae” church which he was planning to build in Rome in memory of the Council. The Holy Father expresses his gratitude with a short speech that he reads from a sheet of paper. In turn, Father Kentenich thanks him for all the benevolence and for his rehabilitation, promising that Schoenstatt will work with all its strength for the post-conciliar mission of the Church.
