Trust with Peter. Set out with Paul. Follow Christ with Mary.
Two apostles, two very different life journeys—and yet one shared goal: Christ.
Peter knew failure, fear, and doubt. Yet Christ entrusted him with a mission and made him the rock of His Church. Paul encountered the risen Lord in a life-changing way and became a tireless witness to the Gospel.
Both remind us that God does not call the perfect. He calls those who are willing to let themselves be transformed by Him and sent out in His service.
We, too, find ourselves again and again between trust and new beginnings. Where is Christ inviting me today to trust Him more like Peter? Where is He calling me to courageously set out on new paths like Paul?
The Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul reminds us that God’s story with humanity is shaped by their “yes”—and by ours as well.
